Soft Adventure Vacations
Just enough activity to appreciate supper and sleep well, but not enough to regret it the next day!
Geographically, our adventures span from walking around the Provincial capital of St. John's to visiting with the polar bears of the Torngat Mountains in Northern Labrador. Activities include walking, kayaking, biking, zodiac touring and other mini adventures such as ziplining.
Polar bears roam, Inuit culture sustains and mile-high mountains tower above in Canada’s newest park. Explore northern Labrador in the Torngat Mountains National Park, with mountains over 1,600 metres, rising directly from the water stored in massive fjords.
2016 dates: August 6 – 13
Paddle & stroll
Kayak with whales and icebergs, stroll among moose. Humbacks, Orca and dolphins often come to play as we kayak out to meet ‘vast cathedrals of ice’ – the most staggering displays nature has to offer. Hike pristine ecosystems, from arctic landscapes to Gros Morne National Park’s forests and fjords.
2016 dates: July 9 – 16
Walking and Wandering Newfoundland
A combination of seaside hikes and fjord vistas, with side wanderings across the Earth’s mantle and through colourful outports. The great news? You can get right up next to the icebergs and whales while walking amid the most breathtaking scenery we offer access to!
2016 dates: August 21 – 28
Bike The Rock
Enjoy the iconic rides of Newfoundland without the constraints of a large group. Feel free to dawdle, explore a side road on a whim, or spend the day on the wharf learning to clean cod. It’s just you, your bike and all that this cyclist’s paradise has to offer!
