This low creeping perennial grows on limestone barrens across the Arctic. Rare in Newfoundland, it is found at just two sites at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula - Quirpon Island and Burnt Island. It has delicate white and purple-streaked pea-type flowers and compound leaves with several pairs of oval leaflets.
